Warm yourself up one wonderful Indian Thali food in Bristol this Thursday.
Dancing is always a good way to beat the winter blues – if live music is your thing, come out on the 4th or the 12th for a great live band, or if clubbing tickles your fancy we are out in Bristol on the 5th and 11th and in Bath on the 4th.

No we haven’t got Ricky Martin fever here in Liverpool – but now that CS Liverpool’s starting to take off, we’re all enjoying the many great Socials on offer which range from Salsa dance classes to live music, entertainment and latin drinks at award winning latin bar Alma de Cuba!
We’ve still got some great Music Month Socials to come in Liverpool with The Beatles Themed Pub Crawl this Saturday – so if you’ve been wanting to check out the Hard Days Night Hotel cocktail menu for a while – here’s your chance! (as always – if there’s something else you’d like to do – why not create your own Social)
It’s great that you’re all onboard and maximising your spare time because with CS Liverpool, it really is the place to be to meet new friends, share interests and make the most out of life in the city!

Glasgow’s had a busy month; from Glasgow City’s Sunday win over Celtic, to a visit by Scottish lad Gerard Butler for the movie premier of ‘ Law Abiding Citizen’ last Sunday, not to mention out great musical month at CitySocialising.
As expected Glasgow certainly didn’t disappoint with an impressive mix of jazz, rock, indie and alternative music on offer and we certainly made the most of it!
Before our final bow, we still some great socials left, so if you haven’t been out yet, remember to check out our ‘Music Lovers in Glasgow Drinks’ on the 26th and our ‘Groovy Musical Friday’ on the 27th.
Hope you enjoyed our Musical month and keep your eyes peeled for our great Christmas socials in December.

As our Musical month draws to a close, I can’t help but appreciate how great it’s been in Edinburgh.
Musical month gave us the chance to comb the streets of Edinburgh for the truly talented – and we weren’t disappointed.
Along with the popular venues like Cabaret Voltaire and the Jazz bar, we also discovered some great music gems, like the ‘Wee Red Bar’ at Lauriston Pl featuring indie, funk and alternative music plus cheapish drinks and the ‘Starbar’, another small and friendly pub with regular gig nights. If you’re in the mood for something different, make sure you check these out.
Before our final bow, we still have some great socials left including our karaoke night on the 20th our ‘Music Lovers in Edinburgh Drinks’ on the 26th and our ‘Saturday Night Fever’ social on the 28th.
Hope you can make it.

Hey guys, we’re all incredibly busy here at CS Manchester – but the good news is that it’s all for you!
Our first ever themed month – ‘music month’ is now more than half way through and I think you’ll agree there’s been some great Socials put on by not just us, but all of you as well. We’ve got the really fun looking Saturday afternoon Tea Party taking place on the 21st November and our totally free Music Lovers Meet on Wednesday 25th November – if you (or anyone you know) has even a slight passing interest in music then sign up for this now – with some great music chat, drinks, the best background bar music in town (OFFICIAL!) and a top DJ playing later on – this school night out could be dangerous!
In case you’ve managed to block out all TV adverts and have tunnel vision when pounding the pavements, you can’t have missed that Christmas is just around the corner and we’ve been planning some great CS Socials for December which really shouldn’t be missed.
The Big Free Winter Party is on December 4th in a festively decorated Canal Street so if you want to come down for a great chance to meet new people in Manchester, socialise and share interests then this is another “must not miss” event!
On top of this we have Christmas Market Tours, Ice Skating and so many drinks Socials that you can’t really afford to spend a single night in this December. Just in case we haven’t got you covered make sure you set up your own members own Socials so as you take control of your social life by planning what, when and where you go!
As always, if you have any questions, feedback or just want to get in contact – send me a message on the site or drop me a line – jonny@citysocialising.com – I’d love to hear from you!
All the best,
Jonny

Wow how quickly November is passing us by and Christmas is fast approaching! We’ve seen lots happening throughout the first two weeks and even more still to come.
Firstly Leeds has some new hosts! So hopefully you will be meeting them all very soon.. and as you all should know there is the new editor, me- Jenny!
The Leeds city socialisers have been out in force, we ventured to to Roundhay for the annual fireworks night, chilled out with Jazz on a Sunday, saw the Leeds lights get switched on and enjoyed a delicious curry at Akbars.
Numbers on all of the socials are increasing, with the curry night at Akbars tempting 10 members along to what was a brilliant night with amazing food!
Still left to come is tonight’s Jazz night which is being host by a new Leeds host, Nick. So pop along and say hi to him! Then we’ve got the Bronze and Silver drinks night which I will be hosting, only 4 places left so hurry up and get booked on to that one. Expect lots of fun, chatting, cocktails and a damn good night!
Then next week kicks of with a new members night hosted by me, so far we’ve got 11 newbies booked on, which is great! If you are a regular city socialiser and fancy coming along, your more than welcome to, so come share your socialising wisdom with them!
Christmas is officially here with our first visit to the German Christmas Markets next week, followed by karaoke fun on Saturday night! We know you all sing in the shower so why not come along and show us how good or bad you are..
Also some more news, I have been made editor of the Sheffield site, which I am extremely excited about. I think some joint socials will be called for so please feel free to get in touch with me with any ideas!!
See you all very soon!

Even though the summer party at Oh So Social seems a long time ago, the passion and enthusiasm for Socialising of Brighton CS members hasn’t been dampened by the recent downpours, and there seems to be even more of a willingness to go out and make the most out of the best city in the UK!!
Music Month has started brilliantly with our special night of X Factor and Karaoke at which all members sang there hearts out and generally took over the venue and the DJing! Last week we had an excellent night at The Brunswick for their Open Mic Night and apparently may have just discovered the next big thing! Next week there’s the excellent Jazz, Funk and Soul Lovers night to look forward to as well as our Pop Quiz on Monday. Now Brighton members have a reputation for winning quizzes so hopefully Aisling’s going to lead her team to victory! (she’s been burrying her head in her old copies of Smash Hits just to make sure!!) However she will need your help so getting booking your place!
Also of note this month is the excellent 20’s night organised by Natalie that’s going on tonight with the ladies heading up to Koba to have the traditional CS Brighton tipple of a cocktail or two! And while we’re on Member Socials, there’s the brand new book circle organised by Elizabeth, now in it’s 3rd week. If you like books then get involved!!
What a start to the month in Brighton!

If you’re waiting for the weekend and can’t wait to get started, there are a few places left on tonight’s socials – an excellent 80’s inspired Fondue night, great live music in Camden or some drinks & conversations at one of London’s most historic and welcoming pubs…
And heading into Friday, we’ve got plenty to keep you occupied! If you’re central, join us for drinks in the West End or in London Bridge, both at popular, lively bars.
Get out and about on Saturday with a special Beatles walking tour or a visit to the Fashion & Textile Museum to take a look at a stunning 1960’s exhibition. For the night time,we have two excellent oppotunities to have a few drinks and a dance in Soho or West London.
And Sunday, lovely lazy Sunday, is best spent near Hampstead Heath, eating and drinking with a great, new crowd. Stroll in the Heath afterwards optional.
Have a good one!
